Superbloom aims to restore native bee habitats, one neighborhood at a time, by establishing intimate relationships with the local landscape, cultivating native plants, and uplifting indigenous voices.

CAUSES FOR DECLINE





LOSS OF HABITAT

Due to agricultural and development projects, loss of habitat disrupts nesting grounds and biodiversity.


PESTICIDES

46 million pounds of neonicotinoids are often used in crops, parks and home gardens.


INVASIVES

Introduction of European Honey Bees also introduced European diseases that decimated native bee populations.
